We showered and dressed and Paul laid out the plan for that evening. There was a trail starting behind the cabin – an old animal trail. There was a heavily wooded area and a small road just on the other side of it. Paul said the safest and surest thing was for me to follow the trail, as he took the car and crossed legally through a border crossing several miles down the amateur road.
